New York City-born and Southern California-raised, this dynamic personality and talented artist lives in Victoria, B.C., Canada. For her entire life April’s passion has been music. She is an experienced vocalist with a significant range, from powerful ballads to hard edge rock. She can sing it all.

You have probably heard her voice. She is featured on radio and television throughout North America and the world. With over 2000 jingles to her credit, she is the commanding presence for major corporations including, Labatt’s, Safeway (Today’s Better Way), The Brick, London Drugs, Shell (The Move Is On), Toys and Wheels, McDonalds Restaurants and countless other retail giants.

Prestigious theatres and top clubs in North America have been typical venues for this talented singer / songwriter over the years. Her fan base grows at a consistent pace, because her natural charisma and significant musical gifts have made her a favourite entertainer.

Her exceptional vocal talents have made her a favourite collaborator for some of the leading talents of our generation, including Bryan Adams, David Foster, Boz Scaggs, Bill Henderson (Chilliwack), Valdy, Brian McCleod (Headpins), Long John Baldry, Mike Reno and Paul Dean (Loverboy).

April’s values have been reflected in a deep commitment to community life, where she has devoted herself to major events. As a result, children and families have seen vast improvements in their lives following April’s uplifting and inspiring performances on behalf of charitable organizations.         

April has touched thousands around the world. It was her commanding presence, at centre stage, leading the spectacular opening and closing ceremonies in 1994 at the XV Commonwealth Games. This was a legendary performance to be added to her extensive list of career highlights in a life of rich accomplishments.     

A sought after vocal coach and guitar instructor, she mentors a growing crop of students from her professional performance studio, where she has been teaching for the past twelve years. You can catch her performing this summer fronting the Chris Millington Big Band at the world famous and prestigious Butchart Gardens, singing in her duo, The Acousticats, or belting out worship music where she leads the congregation at Providence Community church.

A devoted wife and mother, April lives a colourful and well rounded lifestyle. Embracing family and faith, music is the foundation of her rich and diverse life.
